Kilwinning residents hear results from the first PB event in North Ayrshire

Your money, you decide – the 3 Towns on the 21st May 2016 is the date of the next voting event in North Ayrshire, where residents will choose how to  spend £19,000 in their community? Local people and groups can bid for up to £700.

Shortlisted projects will be pitching their ideas in order to win your vote. Voting on the day is open to anyone aged 8, or above, living in the area. North Ayrshire Participatory Budgeting Pilot Event, The Three Towns covers the towns of Stevenston, Saltcoats and Ardrossan. In order to make it a fun event at the Three Towns PB event there will be free entertainment, refreshments and a prize draw on the day.

The first North Ayrshire Council Planning Partnership Participatory Budgeting took place in Kilwinning, in March 2016. Twenty-two local groups gave short presentations to present their project ideas with the chance to secure part of a £12,000 funding pot.
