One of the jobs the UK PB Network does is save and make available the valuable work done on PB over many years. So we re-publish many toolkits produced in the days of the the PB Unit, that ran from 2008 to 2012.
One of these, not previously on this site is the first coherent report in the UK about the opportunities of using digital technologies for PB, written way back in 2009. These were based on a series of workshops held with experts in digital democracy.
Whilst things have moved on a lot since then, we don’t believe in re-inventing the wheel and many of the ideas are still valuable. So we have made available the originals, unedited and in their raw form. In the fast moving world of online democracy, written before Facebook or other social media really took off, they might also be seen as an historic archive!
