From October 2015, as a part of our national gathering on Birmingham, we are planning to strengthen our independance and governance by adopting a constitution for an unincorporated association, and thereafter form an executive committee and advisory board. That can guide our development and promote the cause of citizen voice and empowerment. Potentially eventually becoming legally incorporated and able to raise, hold and use funds directly. In preparation for this important change we are compiling a new membership list, built upon the contact lists used to circulate our regular e-bulletin.
If you would like to become a founding member of the PB Network and help guide our development we invite you to complete the information request form below.
Please include the following in your message:
I am interested in being a PB network member.
I represent the following organisation (add if any)…
My job title (add if any)…
I’m interested in PB because (optional)…"
We will then send you more information on becoming a PB Network member, including copies of the draft constitution and how to get involved.
[ninja_form id=2]
That’s all we need now. We won’t use you information for any other purpose or share it.
There is no charge for membership at this stage.
We may bring in a small membership fee after we are constituted for new members to help us grow. By requesting information or becoming a founding member there will be no obligation to remain a member or pay this fee. You will still be able to get free information through our e-bulletins and website.
A little of our history
The PB Network was formed in 2012, when a few ‘PB champions’ stepped in after the sudden closure of the PB Unit, the body that proceeded the network. This saved the legacy of the Unit and has enable PB to grow accross the UK. Since then we have operated under a simple terms of reference led by a voluntary steering group.
We receive pro bono secretarial support from social enterprise Shared Future CIC, are connected to PB Partners, and receive voluntary donations from the PB consultancy work done by the Partners.
If you would like to know more about how we are currently organised
